Meet Mel & Jeff
Mel Bayo and Jeff Kershner are our corporate trainers. They are responsible for training all of our new sales people at all of our Heritage, Herb Gordon, Saturn Baltimore Area Retailers, Mercedes-Benz of Annapolis, MotorWorld and Tischer dealerships. All newly hired sales people go through Mel and Jeff’s four day training at our corporate office.
Virtual Training
MileOne is pleased to introduce our new and exciting virtual training program. This new tool will enable employees to access educational, sales-based tutorials online with trainers Mel Bayo and Erica Sietsma as well as F & I and HR compliancy pieces through our all new training website: www.mileonetraining.com
The training department expects to see the site up and running by early next year. The virtual classrooms allow employees to access any one of the many conceptual selling tutorials from anywhere and at anytime. As a result, MileOne employees will be provided with the necessary tools to become the “empowered and well-trained employees” we reinforce everyday in our mission.
On the new training website, not only will employees be able to access the virtual training program, but they will also be able to post questions and engage in open discussions with fellow sales people, managers, and trainers about new ideas or concerns. They will also get the latest and greatest tips on sales training, attitude improvement, and access to Autobase University.
This is only the beginning of what can be referred to as the newest and greatest employee training available. As we continue to roll out the new virtual trainer, we will begin expanding the web training into all areas of our automotive workforce in everything from parts to service to management and beyond. As an employee of MileOne, you can expect to receive the best training in the automotive industry; this is just a taste of what is to come.
